Fur Products
Our Collection
The Heaven Spectrum offers premium pre-loved jacket fur products, made from the high-quality fur removed from branded jackets that is no longer used on the jackets themselves. Our fur is carefully sorted into three types: Duck Down, Duck Feather, and Goose Down, each known for exceptional insulation, softness, and durability. These premium fillings are highly sought after in the USA, UK, China, and Japan markets for pre-owned down jackets, vintage outerwear, and insulated jacket linings, making them ideal for wholesalers, resellers, and vintage retailers seeking profitable, high-demand pre-loved fur materials.
Professional Fur Separation Unit
All jackets with fur are processed in our specialized fur-removal department.
Fur is separated into three international standard types:
Duck Down
Duck down refers to the soft inner feathers of ducks (sometimes geese) that naturally insulate their bodies in cold weather. These clusters trap air, providing excellent warmth while remaining very lightweight.
Duck down is used as the filling in high-end jackets, making them lightweight, soft, and extremely warm. Premium brands like Moncler, Canada Goose, and The North Face use duck down to ensure superior insulation, comfort, and luxury feel in their jackets.
Quality and Advantages of Duck Down:
- Insulation: Traps air efficiently to provide maximum warmth in cold weather.
- Lightweight: Keeps jackets warm without adding bulk.
- Durability: High-quality duck down retains its loft and performance for many years.
- Fill Power: Premium duck down has a fill power of 600–900+, where higher fill power means better insulation and quality.
Duck Feather
Duck feather refers to the outer feathers of ducks that provide structure and support. Unlike the soft inner down, these feathers are firmer, slightly heavier, and less insulating. They are often combined with down to enhance the shape and durability of jackets.
Duck feathers are used as a supplementary filling in jackets, often mixed with duck or goose down. They provide stability and structure to the jacket while adding moderate warmth. Premium and mid-range brands use a combination of duck down and duck feathers to balance insulation, durability, and cost.
Quality and Advantages of Duck Feather:
- Structure & Support: Adds firmness to jackets and helps maintain shape.
- Moderate Warmth: Provides insulation, though less than pure down.
- Durability: Offers long-lasting support but slightly less loft retention compared to down.
- Cost-Effective: Lower-priced alternative to pure down, often mixed with high-quality down for premium jackets.
Goose Down
Goose down refers to the soft inner feathers of geese, known for their superior insulation and luxurious feel. These clusters are larger and fluffier than duck down, trapping more air to provide maximum warmth while remaining lightweight.
Goose down is used as the primary filling in ultra-premium jackets, offering exceptional warmth without adding bulk. Top-tier brands like Moncler, Canada Goose, and Stone Island use goose down to create jackets that are lightweight, soft, and extremely insulating, providing a luxury experience for the wearer.
Quality and Advantages of Duck Down:
- Insulation: Traps air very efficiently, offering maximum warmth even in extreme cold.
- Lightweight: Keeps jackets extremely warm without making them heavy.
- Softness: Exceptionally soft and plush, giving jackets a luxurious feel.
- Durability: High-quality goose down retains its loft and performance for many years.
- Fill Power: Premium goose down typically has a fill power of 700–900+, ensuring superior insulation and quality.
